Pretty much the best day at Sandy's I can remember. Everyone was getting barrelled! Waves stretched from Chambers out past Pipe Littles. Big sets, waves breaching...THIS DAY ROCKED!!!

Today was a prime example as to why NOT to listen to the surf report. It was a BLAST. Mammoth sets coming in, clean, barrels, skimming...Everything was going off. If you missed today, you suck.

It was not nearly as fun as it looks. You really had to wait a while for a decent set...waves smashing high on the sand.

Besides a bit windy, it was the best competition day I can remember out at Sandy's.

It was pretty small, with occasional decent sets. Too windy for skimming, but don't tell Nat...she was RIPPIN' it up with the big boys...watch out Exile Minishaka Shakedown, skimming contest at Sandy's on Saturday November 21st.

A bit bigger than the 1-2 report (but not much). The pix make it look better than it was, but still looked like fun. No big sets...decent skimming (don't ask Nat, though...I waited for her to get wet for 30 minutes then had to leave).

Today was really frickin' fun! The rain tried to stop me from shooting, but thanks to the lifeguard shack and a weatherproof camera, I stayed. Big sets, clean barrels, and sick talent made it pretty epic.

Some HUGE summer sets rolled thru...people getting tossed, barreled, and otherwise pretty mangled. Super windy at times and far out breaks made skimming pretty impossible - but some tried.

Best skimming day in weeks. Actually, the only time it sucked was when Pansy, uh, i mean, Patrick came down. He didn't even take off his mini-skirt. He looked at the waves and started to cry. He then skipped back to the parking lot, got in his used pink Yugo and putted away.

Sloppy, coming it at freaky angles, windy, backwash, nothing at Chambers or out in Pipe Littles or Half-Point. All at Generals today. Not many people in the water, but those that were got tossed everywhere.

Not as good as a couple of days ago, but as the afternoon turned into early evening and the tide rolled in, it got pretty nice down at Chambers. Heavy crowds made skimming tough everywhere else.

OK, everyone was complaining how small it was, but as the afternoon rolled in, so did the quality. Really clear water, wicked skimmer wipeouts, nice weather, and no wind made it "feel" like a great day out there.

Long runway due to washed out sandbar and breakers farther out than normal gave the skimmers a workout. Chambers barreling nicely. Some bigger than average sets for everyone. Totally scarce of people (cloudy day). Not too much wind.

Well, today at WINDY'S (I mean SANDY'S) it was blowin' so hard that I got sand rash on my calves. It made for some big sets. Good stuff from Chambers thru Generals today - something for everyone, except the lone skimmer I saw.

A nice, clean day at Sandy's with most of the action between Gas Chambers and Generals. Light crowds and occasional clean barrels made this a bodysurfers and boogie boader's dream day. Mediocre skimming due to long runways and rare doubles.
